Remember this well
I know it seems like a cliche, but their truly are two sides to every story. The side you want to hear, isn't always the truth. The side you don't want to hear, isn't always false. Listen with your heart and your BRAIN!

Almost done with....
the political season. I for one enjoy this time of year. Fall leaves, football games, people lying to get re-elected. Ah, good times, good times.
I would just like to hear a politician tell the truth for once. I, Joe Bigmouth, promise to do whatever you personally want me to do. I won't do anything that you don't want me to do. If I do, than you don't know what you want me to do really, so therefore I really am doing what you want me to do, you just don't know it.

Honey, wheres my glasses?
What is wrong with being a stay at home mom? Now days, people almost wrinkle their nose when I tell them my wife stays at home. My wife is a taxi driver, gardener, Drill Sergeant, cook, maid, laundress, office manager, mom, wife, grandma, farmer, and teacher. I think it is wonderful that we can live on my income and do not have to pay for all the services she provides. Thank you honey!

Special moment in history
Today is the anniversary of the 16th Street Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama. In reading about the sick S.O.B.''s and their motives, and the devastation the bombing caused, I came across a remarkable story about a very brave man.
His name was Clyde Kennard.
Growing up in the 60's and 70's in Central Illinois, I confess to being clueless about the Civil Rights Movement. Movies like Mississippi Burning and Ghosts of Mississippi intrigued me greatly, though they were still movies. Clyde Kennards story is real. Take the time to read about him. www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clyde_Kennard

Ramblings and Rumblings
How much longer do we have to put up with career politicians? Term limits, term limits, term limits! When will we, lazy Americans, do some research and get off our butts to vote out incumbents? Democratic and Republican parties sicken me. Not as much as the people who blindly support them.
I want a less stressful life. I want lower taxes. I want more prisons. I want ethanol. I want a pizza. I want neighborhoods where everybody looks after everyone. Not where everyone talks about everyone.
Does anyone miss the 1960's? Up until 1979, life was good. Hmmm...I graduated high school that year. Coincidence?
I wonder if the Cleavers are home?
